'Kenbu' is a distinctive linerilobum-type Japanese maple with a vertical growth pattern. The deeply dissected and strap-like leaves resemble bamboo, while the bright green spring color with rose highlights adds to its unique appearance. In the summer, the leaves change to a vibrant red, creating a stunning contrast against the dark purple bark. This one-of-a-kind variety was introduced by Masayoshi Yano of Japan.
