The 'Akita Yatsubusa' Japanese Maple is a compact and resilient true-dwarf tree. Measuring at 3 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide at 10 years old, it is ideal for small garden spaces and can also be pruned into a bonsai for containers. Its charming, star-shaped leaves are small and abundant, starting out pink and red in spring and turning yellow-green by summer. In the fall, the foliage changes to a darker green before bursting with vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red. This hardy and heat-resistant gem is a perfect addition to any garden, whether kept as a natural bonsai or allowed to grow freely.
